Integrative Edge is a unique program that combines figure-skating instruction with mindful movement, stretching, and breathwork. Our Mindful Mastery informed curriculum helps children build skating skills while developing greater confidence, coordination, and body awareness.

Experience requirements vary by program. Some sessions are designed for complete beginners, while others are intended for skaters with prior experience. Please review the description for your selected program to determine the appropriate level.
Does my child need skating experience?

In our Mindful Skating Workshops, students develop foundational skating skills such as balance, coordination, forward and backward movement, stopping, edges, and turns. Off the ice, they practice exercises that complement their on-ice performance while improving focus, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness.
Our advanced classes focus on artistic expression and choreography. These programs may also feature guest choreographers and movement specialists who introduce students to new styles of movement and creative expression.

What should my child wear?

Children should wear warm, comfortable layers that allow them to move freely. Gloves and long pants are recommended.
Helmets are strongly recommended for beginner skaters. A properly fitted hockey, bicycle, or multi-sport helmet may be worn.

How large are the classes?
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Classes are intentionally kept small so students can receive individualized attention. Capacity may vary by location, but most groups include approximately 4-6 Skaters.
If Integrative Edge or the rink cancels a class, a makeup class or program credit will be provided whenever possible. Makeup classes and credits are not available for individual student absences.
Registration reserves your child’s place in the full session. Payments are generally nonrefundable once the program begins. Please review the specific terms provided during registration.
Parent-viewing policies depend on the rink and program location. Location-specific instructions will be shared before the first class.
